Comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessment
$2800
A comprehensive assessment of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, attention and executive functioning, and social-emotional and behavioural functioning. Adaptive functioning and other areas may also be assessed when indicated.
Assessment findings are integrated to identify strengths and areas of difficulty, clarify diagnoses when appropriate, and provide practical recommendations for home and school.
Comprehensive Autism Assessment
$3800
A comprehensive assessment for children and youth when Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a concern. This service includes a full psychoeducational assessment and autism-specific assessment, providing a broader understanding of your child’s learning and developmental profile.
Findings are integrated to clarify diagnosis and provide individualized recommendations for home, school, and community.
Funding & Direct Billing
Funding may be available to help cover the cost of psychological assessment.
Blooming Minds Psychological Services is set up to receive direct payment for approved assessments through Jordan’s Principle and the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan Let’s Soar Program.
For families with approved funding, assessment fees can be billed directly to the applicable program.
Private Health Benefits
Psychological assessment services may be eligible for reimbursement through private or employer health benefit plans. Coverage varies by plan, and families are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to confirm their psychology coverage, annual limits, and eligibility for psychological assessment services.
